Theodore William Gill was born sleeping on the 26th April 2023. All donations made to this page will be for Lost Little Ones which is for the baby bereavement suite at Leighton Hospital.

Sadly, every year so many families suffer the pain and loss of their little ones. All funds raised will provide these families with the time and space to create precious memories with their baby which will need to last a lifetime.

By supporting this appeal you will help Leighton Hospital provide the funds to create a dedicated suite and attached outside space on the labour ward for bereaved parents. The suite will allow parents to stay together with their baby in a comfortable, non-clinical environment and provide an outside space where families can spend quiet time together away from the rest of the ward.

The suite will comprise of a bedroom with drop down double bed so that parents are able to stay together, a separate lounge and kitchen and most importantly a nursery room. There will also be a separate entrance and exit and dedicated parking spaces.

At the time we lost Theo, the bereavement suite was not available so we know how much the suite would have changed our experience and for any other newly bereaved parents if they were able to give birth separate to the labour ward amongst newborn babies and the clinical environment.
